We invite playwrights from around the world to submit new full length and one-act plays or musicals into competition. The winners of the competition receive the prestigious Marsha A. Croyle Award for outstanding achievement in playwriting and an in-depth Zoom video interview. We are currently in discussion with a venue in western Pennsylvania to provide live, staged readings of our winning plays. SCRIBE PLAYWRITING COMPETITION ANNOUNCES 2022 WINNERSA big congratulations to our 2022 Scribe Playwriting winning playwrights and plays. It was a very difficult season this year, as we received so many wonderful plays from across the globe. David Don Miller, of Newburgh, NY, with his sons John Matthew Miller and Dean Lawrence Miller, take home the prize for their full length play 'It Wasn't Me', and Louise Schwarz, of New York, NY, takes the one-act prize with her play 'Goat Coaster'. We'll be sending out emails and certificates to the winners. Look for their playwright interviews to appear online in May.
